From medicine to movie acting
While Kiki Omeli may have won hearts with her acting skills, not so many people know that the actress holds a degree in medicine from the University of Lagos.
In an interview with Koko, she opened up about how she dumped her medical degree for movie acting which she described as her destiny.
Speaking about her initial reception into the industry, she had this to say:
"Honestly, it wasn’t easy, particularly with my medical background; some filmmakers were reluctant to cast me for roles. Interestingly, God made all things beautiful in His own way. With prayers, hard work, dedication and perseverance, I have carved a place for myself in the motion pictures industry."
