Indeed, a good name is far better than riches and gold. However, sometimes, one can have both and this appears to be the story of Davido's late mum, Veronica Imade Adeleke.
A Nigerian journalist, Jackson Ude, recently took to Twitter to reveal how he met a friend recently who only had nice things to say about the singer's late mum whom his first child is named after.
Ude's friend revealed that the late Veronica was a nice woman who often cooked good meals and offered to him and his colleagues.
In Ude's words:
"I met a friend today. He has plenty good stories about the late mom of @davido He described her a very nice woman who in Atlanta, would cook lunch and drive the food in her Rolls Royce to share at his work place for him and colleagues to eat. He said @davido was a baby then."
The singer in turn responded to the post with 'facts'.

According to the Blow My Mind crooner, he just got his first Rolls Royce, noting that it's a 2021 edition.
A few days ago, the singer threw a big birthday party for his first child, Imade, as she clocked six and the occasion made headlines for days on social media.
The official video from the event was recently shared on the celebrant’s Instagram page and internet users who did not attend were also able to enjoy a bit of what went down.
Despite the party being for the celebration of a six-year-old, a number of Nigerian celebrities were in attendance, no doubt, due to Imade’s father’s influence.
