Cristiano Ronaldo has been urged to return to Manchester United in a bid to rediscover his form after a disappointing season with Juventus.

Despite topping the top scorers' chart in Italy this season, the Old Lady are struggling to qualify for the Champions League under his watch.

And this means the five-time Ballon d'Or winner may be playing in the Europa League next season if things end with Juve in the fifth position on the log this term.

Sources claim Juventus are ready to ditch the forward as their UCL qualification hangs on other teams' results on the final matchday.

Meanwhile, his teammates are also furious with him over the huge amount he earns on a weekly basis as reported by Daily Star.

The publication further wrote that it would be bizarre for a player like Ronaldo to campaign in the Europa next season as his deal with the Old Lady expires in the summer of 2022.

United are a potential destination for the prolific goals scorer but Paris Saint Germain and a few other clubs are also showing interest. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Compare.bet, Pallister said:

“Yes, I could see him coming back. He had a great time at Old Trafford, and coming back here would suit Cristiano with Juve struggling with Champions League qualification. He didn’t have issues here the first time round under the leadership of Sir Alex, and you can see that he still looks after himself and has that hunger.

“He still wants to compete at the top level and play Champions League football, and if he comes to United you have to find a place for Cristiano Ronaldo. He’s a magnificent player and still has that hunger to prove himself as the best player that’s ever walked this planet.
“I think he’s on record as wanting to play until he’s 40 – sometimes when you’re bringing a player back to a club you worry about the hunger and desire if it’s something seen as more of a final payday. You see the way he talks and trains, he’s still keen and can be one of the best players in the world at United.”

Ronaldo has 36 goals and four assists in 43 appearances across competitions for Juve and 29 of those goals came in the Serie A.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Juan Cuadrado's late-minute penalty was all Juventus needed to beat Serie A champions Inter Milan 3-2 at the Allianz Stadium.
