Mother's day was celebrated in some parts of the world on Sunday, May 9, and quite a lot of people took to social media to pen down beautiful words for mothers all over the world.

Nigerian media personality, Linda Ikeji, in the celebration spirit as well, decided to talk about raising kids.

In a lengthy post she shared via her official Instagram handle, the celebrity blogger disclosed that she is a great mum who is fiercely protective of the kids around her, and she does not need anyone to tell her.

She continued by saying that she shows her son, Jayce, a lot of kindness, love, and allows him to have his way most times even though she has been advised not to spoil him when he needs to be spanked.

On the issue of spanking, Ikeji revealed that she does not believe children should be spanked over every mistake they make in a bid to correct them, as it does more harm than good.

The proud mum of one then went on to reveal that Jayce started school less than two weeks ago, and his teacher, in his daily report, described him as a kind boy.

She also made sure to note that she got her kind nature from her mum even though her dad was the complete opposite.

According to the billionaire media mogul, her body was looking like she got work done. She rocked a short pink dress with a matching pink purse and high-heeled shoes.

A troll identified as mamaemeka1 did not seem too pleased with the post and proceeded to share her mind.
