Nigerians have continued to show people around the world that the country is home to a lot of talented individuals, and Prince Obua is obviously one of them. The young man bakes cakes in form of crocodile, generator, aeroplane, stove, among others.
In an exclusive interview with Legit.ng, the talented baker said he was inspired by his mum who was into snack baking before she breathed her last.
According to Obua, he would always assist the woman whenever she was baking snacks and that was how he developed an interest in baking.
Speaking about baking cakes in form of different objects, he said:
"I so much love the art part of cake. Because I follow up some cake masters like bakeking and the rest, so I always beat my chest to create stuffs out of cakes. I picked it up as a challenge and to my greatest surprise I started seeing my self overcoming.
"I always try out what other bakers see as difficult task and I get them. Growing up to this point is as a result of my zeal and passion for craft. I so much love craft."
Obua said patronage has been encouraging but he bakes some cakes for the fun and not because people ordered for them.
In his words:
"I get patronised sometimes but most time I do craft, I don't do it because I am being paid, I don't do it for money. Some craft jobs I do are never ordered by anyone, since I do more of training people, sometimes I use some available materials to craft out some things I believe will wow the masses. I do it for zeal and passion and not all about what I get or want to gain."
He said travelling out of the country has always been his dream because he would love to acquire more knowledge in the baking industry.
The young baker advised people that want to succeed in the baking industry to believe in themselves and have passion for the work.
Legit.ng previously reported that Prince Obua recreated Nollywood actor Zubby Michael's house.
He shared the pictures on Facebook and Nigerians flooded the comment section of his post to commend him for the beautiful cake.
