This, top American TV host Ellen DeGeneres recently brought home after taking to social media to share about one of the scariest moments in her life, involving her loved one.
According to Ellen, Friday, March 19, was one of the scariest days in her life after she was forced to rush her wife Portia de Rossi, to the hospital, following a health complication.

Sharing her experience during her hit show, Ellen, on Tuesday, March 23, told her audience that the situation was so bad that she saw her wife Portia on the floor on all fours.
The TV host said her wife Portia had earlier assured her that she is fine, but she could not take her word because she saw the suffering her partner was going through.

Ellen told her audience that she could not just sit back and relax, especially after learning from Portia that she had not been doing quite fine, as far as her health was concerned.
"I rush her to the ER, and we are driving, and she's in so much pain, and I am worried about her, and I don't know what is wrong with her because, as you know, I grew up Christian Science. So my best guess was ... a demon?" Ellen said.
Ellen rushed her wife to the hospital, and doctors disclosed Portia had a burst appendix.

Thanks to the fast response, Portia was able to be operated on in time before it got to a worrying phase.
The TV host revealed she went through a scare, but her wife Portia was treated and discharged from the hospital.
"She's home. She came home late yesterday. Not all of her, she left her appendix at the hospital," Ellen told her fans.
Months ago, Legit.ng reported that Ellen DeGeneres talked about her coronavirus experience. The media personality said she learnt that she had contracted the deadly virus just minutes before she went on air.
Ellen said everyone that was with her ran for their lives and she had to go into quarantine immediately. The comedienne also said she discovered that back pain was also a symptom of COVID-19.
