Actor Emmanuel Ehumadu Vows to Raise N25m for Late Ernest Asuzu’s Burial Amid Backlash

Nigerian actor, Emmanuel Ehumadu, has taken to his page on Instagram in reaction to social media backlash for trying to raise money for late Ernest Asuzu’s final burial rites.

Ehumadu shared a screenshot on his Instagram page in which he was accused of raising funds for the deceased actor after allegedly neglecting him when he was sick and in need of funds.

The actor noted that people would always talk no matter what. His post read in part:

"World People... No matter what one does some people will sit back and talk rubbish. While we the colleagues of late Ernest Asuzu are trying to raise funds for his burial, rumour already has this going on."

Ehumadu in a different portion of his post made it clear that he is even more inspired to make sure that the N25 million donation target is met.

According to him, the money is for the burial rites of the late Asuzu and also for the welfare of the family he left behind.

He called on those willing to support the cause to reach out to him for account details.
