Portugal international Bruno Fernandes who currently plays for Manchester United has reportedly been offered new five-year contract, but the big midfielder has refused to sign the paper.

Bruno Fernandes has been in incredible form this season for Manchester United since he joined the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon.

He has scored 35 goals and providing 21 assists in 63 appearances in all competitions so far this term for Manchester United.

Manchester United chiefs want Bruno Fernandes to sign another deal so as for them to have relaxed minds about his future.

But according to the report on Mirror UK, Fernandes wants to know how the club plans to continue making progress before he commits.

The Portuguese international recently helped United defeat rivals Manchester City, ending their 21 game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table with 54 points after 2 games played so far.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes is making efforts to raise £720,000 for two seriously-ill children and will now auction off his shirts and boots to realise the funds.

The Portuguese international grabbed the opener in United’s 2-0 won over rivals Manchester City wrecking the Citizen’s record 21-game winning run.

Fernandes is already raffling off his shirt and boots from that game to benefit siblings Leonor, five, and eight-year-old Jaime.

The kids, who are also from Portugal, are being treated at a US hospital where they need over a million dollars as they suffer from a rare form of cancer.
