Furious Man Utd manager Solskjaer says 'cheeky' Chelsea website post ‘influenced' referee after penalty denial

Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjer has slammed Chelsea over a post on their website saying it is capable of influencing Premier League referees, SunSport reports.
The tactician says the cheeky post on the Blues’ website may have been responsible after United were denied a penalty at the Stamford Bridge.
Solskjaer was referring to an article posted on the Chelsea official website which discussed in detail, a controversial decision during their first leg encounter at the Ole Trafford earlier this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports about the decision, Solskjaer said:
"It's all these outside influences.
"Even the VAR talk before the game on Harry [Maguire]. It's cheeky when they put that on their website.
"That's influencing the referees."
When reporter Geoff Shreeves asked Solskjaer what he was referring to, he said: "You can go back and look on their website."
Referee Attwell decided not to award a penalty after the ball flicked Callum Hudson-Odoi's hand in Chelsea's box.
Solskjaer was seen pleading with the linesman but it made little difference as the game finished 0-0.

Following the draw, Thomas Tuchel remains unbeaten in all competitions after Chelsea and Manchester United shared the spoils after the regulation at Stamford Bridge.
The outcome further means that the Red Devils were unable to close the gap on their city rivals Manchester City who have one match in hand.
Meanwhile, Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League for the first time since January 31 following their 2-0 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Though they won their Champions League rounds of 16 first-leg clash against RB Leipzig on February 16, they had lost all four of their EPL meetings in the month under review.
Two second-half goals from Curtis Jones and Kean Bryan (own goal) powered the Reds to their only English topflight win this month.
However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United are confident that their record signing Paul Pogba will shun interests from other clubs and sign a new deal to remain at Old Trafford beyond the summer of 2022.
Real Madrid and Juventus are the two leading European giants interested in the French World Cup winner but the Red Devils have refused to allow him to leave.
The midfielder is currently out injured since he picked up an ankle injury during his side's 3-3 draw against Everton earlier this month.
