Corper appreciates mum who sells food to pay her school fees, wears her NYSC uniform, shares photo

A young Nigerian lady and ex-corps member, Esther Amarachi Igbo, celebrated her passing out parade with her mother in Anambra who used food (abacha) selling business to send her to school.

According to Fides Media, Esther bagged a degree in economics at the Abia State University served in St John of God Secondary School in Awka.

In an interview, the lady said that her mum was her all, adding she did her best to get her daughter to where she is today.

The ex-corper disclosed that her mum is a very strong person, vowing to make her proud in whatever way she can.

Esther also revealed how her mum used her food business to provide for her and even pay her school fees, adding that the small business later grew to include beans and plantain.

On if she would love to acquire more qualifications, the lady said she hopes to pick a postgraduate form soon. Esther added that though she loves business, her mother wants her to get more education.

The lady vowed to make her mum’s lives better as she said:

'Yes, I will love to open a very big restaurant for my mum in her name. I sincerely wish to make her proud and never let the Abacha business she trained me with die off.”
