- Zinedine Zidane has been reportedly given an ultimatum before he gets fired as Real Madrid boss
-The French manager will be let off the hook if he fails to land his fourth Champions League title for Los Blancos
- Real Madrid are ten points behind Atletico Madrid following their 2-1 loss to Levante in their last outing
Zinedine Zidane will be sacked as Real Madrid boss if he fails to win the Champions League this season, reports from The Sun claim.
Los Blancos have now gone ten points behind city rival Atletico Madrid on the La Liga table following their 2-1 loss at home to Levante.
With the league title beyond Zidane's reach, the club have also been knocked out of the Copa del Rey in their round of 32 fixture with third-tier minnows Alcoyano.
Real also lost their Spanish Super Cup tie to eventual winners to Athletic Bilbao and have a daunting task against Italian side Atalanta in the Champions League round of 16.
The Spanish giants won three consecutive Champions League titles under Zidane between 2016 and 2018.
The Frenchman left the club after winning his third European title in 2018 after having disagreements with the club, before returning in March the following year.
Reports in Spain claim if Zidane fails to land his fourth title for Los Merengues will have no option but to sack him.
Real Madrid will play Huesca, Getafe, Valencia and Real Valladolid before their Champions League tie with Atalanta.
Eden Hazard has not hit top form yet as well as Federico Valverde and Vinicius but Sergio Ramos' new deal has not been finalized.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Spanish midfielder Isco appears to be tired with his bench-warming role at Real Madrid and will reportedly leave probably in the summer.
The 28-year-old played no part in Los Blancos 2-1 defeat to Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu despite being included in the squad for the game.
His last straw was when Zinedine Zidane's assistant David Bettoni chose to young Sergio Arribas into the game while the scoreline was still at 1-1 instead of Isco.
