Congratulations are in order for Nigerian singer Wizkid as he recently recorded a huge success in his career.

Wizkid's Come Closer featuring US singer Drake has gone platinum in Canada. The song was certified on Wednesday, January 13.

The news was shared on Friday, January 15 through the singer's official news and fan page Wizkidnews on Instagram.

According to the page, Come Closer went platinum after selling over 80,000 units in the country.

Wizkidnews noted that Come Closer is Wizkid's second song to go platinum. He is also said to be the first and only Nigerian artist to go platinum in Canada.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Tunde Ednut trolled Wizkid barely 48 hours after he returned to IG.

The blogger asked of the Ojuelegba crooner whom he referred to as his guy. According to him, no matter how much you curse the singer, he will not respond.

The blogger noted that even if you hail him, he still will not respond. Tunde then asked why Wizkid is so hard-hearted.
