US election: Trump makes powerful allegation hours before electoral college confirms Biden's victory

- Donald Trump has again queried the victory of Joe Biden of the Democratic party

- The electoral college is expected to take a final decision of Biden's victory on Monday, December 14

- Trump, however, alleged that the election has been rigged to oust him from the White House

Hours before the US electoral college makes its final decision on the victory of the presidential candidate of Democrat, Joe Biden, President Donald Trump has released another bombshell.

Legit.ng reports that Trump, in a tweet on Monday, December 14, questioned why vote counting was stopped in some state in the middle of the night.

He alleged that the authorities waited to find out how many ballots they had to produce in order to steal the rigged election.

Trump said that they were so far behind that they needed time and a fake “water main break”, to recover from the defeat.

He tweeted:

“Why did the Swing states stop counting in the middle of the night? Because they waited to find out how many ballots they had to produce in order to steal the rigged election. They were so far behind that they needed time, & a fake “water main break”, to recover!

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Trump’s hope of retaining power was dashed after the US Supreme Court rejected a bid to block the ballots of millions of voters in battleground states that went in favor of Democrat, Joe Biden.

It was reported that the court on Friday, December 11, ruled that the suit which was filed Texas' attorney general, Ken Paxton and supported by Trump did not have any legal standing.

The suit, according to the report, had called into doubt the results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, which all voted for Biden, having backed by 18 states and more than 100 Republican members of the US Congress.

But the verdict by the Supreme Court may have dealt a final blow on the efforts by the Trump camp to undo the president’s election loss.
