In what will bemuse many people in Nigeria and around the world, given his refusal to accept that he was defeated in the just concluded presidential election, President Donald Trump of the United States of America agreed that a transition process should take place.

The combative and Twitter loving president of the world's largest economy disclosed that he has given the green light for the General Services Administration (GSA) to do the needful in ascertaining that Biden won the election.

CNN reports that the GSA had earlier sent a letter to Biden to inform him that his transition could now begin.

The GSA is a federal agency responsible for enabling the transition of power from one administration to another, and it controls the funds for the process.
