Jeffery Lamar Williams, known professionally as Young Thug, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is considered to be one of the most influential rappers of his generation with his music having heavily shaped contemporary trap music and inspired numerous artists.

Legit.ng previously reported that as the world continues to battle with the deadly Covid-19 also known as coronavirus, many people have taken to social media to react to the endemic. While some people have advised that social distancing be practised, Young Thug seems to have a different opinion.

The top American rapper recently took to his social media to react to the spread of the virus, dishing out what he believes to be a solution by directing his fans and followers to a scripture in the Bible. The part of the Bible talks about God sending an epidemic and prayers and repentance being a solution. Chronicles 7:13-14 reads:

"Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on My people, if they pray to men and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in Heaven, forgive their sins and make their land prosperous again."
