The chairman of the caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni, has claimed there is a hidden agenda behind the ongoing #EndSARS protests across the country.

Buni said there was an urgent need for leaders at all levels to come together to bring an end to the protest before it goes out of hand.

The APC chieftain wondered why the protesters are still on the streets despite the steps taken by the Nigerian government to address their demands.
“What else do the protesters want? The IG has taken immediate action. So, I think they should stop the protests and come to the table with government so that there will be solution."
According to the Yobe state governor, President Muhammadu Buhari took over the mantle of leadership at a time Nigeria was facing enormous challenges, stressing that the country cannot be fixed within five years.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a herdsmen group, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, accused former Lagos governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, of sponsoring the #EndSARS protests.
The group claimed that some politicians from the southern part of the country, including Tinubu, are behind the nationwide protests.
According to Miyetti Allah, the plan is to undermine and overthrow the government of President Muhammadu Buhari and also intimidate the north ‘to give up its rights to rule beyond 2023.’
