Some even compared the new iPhone's design to that of the iPhone 5 which was released way back in 2012.

Here are some of the reactions:

The new iPhone does have a few pros which include the 5G network, it is also thinner, smaller, and much lighter which makes a big difference to iPhone lovers, and also better display.

It also comes with a ceramic shield technology that prevents the phone from cracking when dropped and as always, a better camera that many believe changes everything.

The phone also comes with a smaller box and for that reason, the new model does not include ear pods or a charger with Apple citing environmental reasons for the change.

Those accessories will now have to be bought separately but Apple will still provide the USB-C to lightning charging cable.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a lot of iPhone users would be disappointed and start making plans to change their phones as Apple revealed that iPhone 6 and older iPhones were obsolete.

It was gathered it is because Apple no longer sends security updates to some of these older models of iPhones.

Other gadgets that are obsolete in terms of software updates include the iPhone 5C, 5S, 5, 4S, 4, 3GS, 3G and the 2007 iPhone. Software updates are the gateway through which Apple send security updates to iPhones across the globe.
