Singer and rave of the moment Adelusola Ebenezer Adefemi aka Olakira has opened up on how he scored the most exciting collaboration of his career so far in the Nigerian music industry.

The singer recently had an exclusive chat with Legit TV and Olakira had a lot to say about his journey so far and the huge success of his single, In My Maserati.

Speaking on how he managed to snag music collaboration with superstar Davido, Olakira stated that the entire process was natural and he never lobbied for it.

According to him, it all started when he got a direct message from Davido on Instagram and the 30 BG boss asked him to send his personal mobile number.

Olakira said after the singer contacted him, they had a video call on the instant messaging platform, WhatsApp, and Davido expressed his interest in working with him on a remix.

According to the singer, the whole experience seemed like a dream to him but everything became real after Davido sent his finished version of the song on the same day.

Two days after, Olakira said he also got to meet Davido in person and they had a good time together.

Speaking on his journey into music, the producer turned artiste said he had to really go back home and do his assignment before putting out music.

Olakira attributed the success of his single to the fact that he studied his audience and gave them what they wanted.

The FEM crooner in an Instagram post described the upcoming act as his 'little brother for life' after a fan asked him to forgive Frosh.

Recall that Lil Frosh was yanked off the DMW label after he was accused of domestic violence against his female lover.
