Ashley Young is the latest footballer to test positive for coronavirus as Inter Milan confirmed the Englishman is self isolating.
According to a statement by Inter Milan on Sunday, October 11, the former Man United star tested positive for coronavirus after taking the test.
Inter Milan said: "FC Internazionale Milano has disclosed that Ashley Young has contracted Covid-19 after taking a test yesterday at Appiano Gentile.
"The English football player is now isolating at home."
This comes as a big blow to Inter Milan who take on AC in the first Milan derby of the season next week.
Inter sit fourth in the Serie A table as Atalanta and rivals AC Milan the two teams on nine points from nine.
The Nerazzuris are fourth in the Serie A table after three games with seven points after wins against Fiorentina, Benevento and a 1-1 draw against Lazio.
Recall that Ashley Young stayed back in Italy during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic in March and April.
