Tottenham superstar Eric Dier was on Tuesday night, September 29, spotted running down the Spurs' tunnel during the Carabao Cup encounter against Premier League rivals Chelsea.

This incident happened 15 minutes to the end of the encounter with Tottenham still trailing Chelsea 1-0 in a tough duel between these two sides.

The England international appeared to have been pressed and had to run out of the pitch in which man thought that he was subbed in the encounter.

Spurs' manager Jose Mourinho run after Eric Dier to the dressing room to actually confirmed what was going on with his player.

Moments later, Eric Dier appeared from the tunnel to continue the game which later ended 1-1 and Spurs went on to win the tie 5-4 on penalties.

"The problem is this was not a pee. What happened to Eric Dier is not normal. I have to praise him in a special way.
"It should be forbidden for a player to play two games in 48 hours at this level. What he did is not human to do.
"He had to go when he ran off as he had no chance,'' Jose Mourinho explained according to the report on UK Sun.

Eric Dier has been playing for Tottenham since the year 2014 and was among the Spurs' team that reached the final of last two season's Champions League losing against Liverpool.
