Ansu Fati has written his name in the history books of Spain as he became the country's youngest scorer during their 4-0 win over Ukraine in the Nations League.

The 17-year-old was a pain in the neck on the Ukrainian defence as he made series of impressive dribbles.

The Barcelona star who has been tipped to replace Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou won a penalty after he was brought down in the box as Sergio Ramos converted the spot-kick.

Ramos added his second on the night after heading the ball home for his 23rd goal for the national team which made him the highest-scoring defender in the history of international football.

Fati deservedly got his goal and it was an exquisite finish from the youngster after cutting in from the left-wing and unleashed a shot into the goalkeeper's left-hand corner to make it 3-0.

Manchester City's new signing Ferran Torres wrapped up the scoring in the second half after coming off the bench to grab his first international goal.

Spain now go top of Group A4 as Germany slipped to third after being held by a 1-1 draw by Switzerland.

Jachim Lowe's men surrendered a 1-0 first half lead as the Swiss side scored through Silvan Widmer to cancel out Ilkay Gundogan's goal.

Germany are still looking for their first win in the competition as they take on second place Ukraine in their next game while Spain will play hosts to Switzerland.
