Jorge who is the father and agent of football legend Lionel Messi has reportedly confirmed that his star son will remain at Barcelona until the end of the 2020/21 League season in Europe.

This latest development will be a great one for all Barcelona fans considering how their minds have been troubled when Lionel Messi handed the Catalans a transfer request.

Lionel Messi did that after the club's defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League losing 8-2 which sent them out of the competition.

Asked on whether a six-time Ballon d’Or winner could remain with the Blaugrana until the end of his current contract in 2021, Jorge Messi replied with “yes”.
