COVID-19: Oyo commissioner says he defeated virus with black seed oil, herbal concoction

The commissioner for information, culture and tourism in Oyo state, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, has revealed how he recovered from the deadly coronavirus.
Olatunbosun, who spent 56 days in isolation, said he took not less than 25 bottles of black seed oil, a bowl of black seed, lots of alligator pepper, bitter cola as well as different brands of herbal concoctions to beat the deadly disease, The Nation reports.
Legit.ng gathers that the commissioner said he drank the herbal concoction at intervals and used it for steaming after his normal drugs.

He said the government must seek ways to supplement orthodox and traditional medicine, especially the use of local herbs for patients.
Olatunbosun said: “You would not believe that while I was on self-isolation at home, some people still came to my house on Sallah day to celebrate with me.
“They did not fear at all. I had to send emissaries to them on phone with gifts and asked them to go home, it was that bad."
In other news, President Vladimir Putin of Russia has announced that his country has developed the first vaccine offering "sustainable immunity" against the coronavirus.
In a televised video conference call with ministers, the president said the vaccine has been registered.

Putin said: "This morning, for the first time in the world, a vaccine against the new coronavirus was registered."
The president also said that one of his daughters was one of those used for the experiment of the vaccine, which Russia hopes to mass-produce within weeks.
Putin said: "One of my daughters had this vaccine. I think in this sense she took part in the experiment."
Comments flooded the comment section shortly after the Russian president made the disclosure on his Facebook page.
