The recently celebrated Sallah witnessed millions of Muslims across the world come out in their very best to mark the Islamic holiday and Nigerians were not left out.

One of such people who did not miss out on the celebration is Nigerian senator, Shehu Sani.

He melted many hearts online after he took to his official Instagram page to share photos of his adorable children; two sons and two daughters.

In the photos, his sons posed for the photo in dark brown babarigas and caps while his daughters are captured sitting pretty in cream and gold coloured lace dresses and headwraps.

Sani who is also an author, playwright and a human rights activist, is the president of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria and the chairman of Hand-in-Hand, Africa.

He was a leading figure in the struggle for the restoration of democracy in Nigeria.

Despite the pandemic, the Eid Mubarak festivity was marked with loads of meat and drinks for families and friends.

A story shared by @LifeofKan recently left many people amused as what should have been merrymaking between friends turned out embarrassing for one party.

According to the gist, a friend was invited over to celebrate Sallah but ended up stealing an Apple Watch belonging to his host's father. The act was caught on their CCTV camera and he eventually was taken away by the police.
