Social media influencer Adeherself granted bail at N500k

Social media celebrity and skit maker Adedamola Adewale Rukayat Adeherself is set to regain her freedom from the custody of Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after she was picked up some weeks ago over an alleged internet fraud case.
The skit-maker who received backlash on social media following her alleged involvement in internet scam was recently granted bail at the sum of N500k by an Ikeja special offence court.
Recall that some weeks ago fans of the young lady were thrown into a state of frenzy after the EFCC disclosed that she was among other suspects who were nabbed during a special raid.

The anti-graft agency in an official statement shared on Twitter said the young lady and some others were picked up in different areas of Lagos. Adeherself had been in the custody of the EFCC after she was arraigned on July 7.
Counsel to the EFCC, Samuel Daji, said the young lady was found with some fraudulent documents in her possession.

Adeherself was granted bail on Wednesday, July 15, by Justice Sherifat Solebo and ordered to provide two sureties with reliable means of income to complete her bail condition.
The case was adjourned August 5 for substantive hearing.
Just before the young lady found herself in trouble, Legit.ng reported that she captured the hearts of Nigerians on social media after sharing an adorable video that featured her mother and father.
In the viral clip, the young lady was seen asking her parents some questions to see if they were in tune with the current generation.

Reacting to the clip, singer, Teni, gifted Adeherself’s mother the sum of N100k, after the woman revealed the singer as her best music star in the industry.
