Ahmed Musa donates truck load of food items in Jos amid coronavirus crisis

Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa has once again rendered his helping hand to residents of Jos as he sent a truck load of food items to the northern part of the Plateau state capital.

This was disclosed by Bello Mohammed Bello who uses the Twitter handle @GeneralBMB on Monday, May 25 and claiming the Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia star sent the items through him.

He Tweeted: “One of Jos football icon Ahmed Musa sent a truck of food items through me to distribute to Jos-North residents. Thanks for finding me worthy of this task. Please pray for Ahmed Musa.”

And this is coming barely three weeks that Musa donated bags of rice for the Muslim faithful in the Plateau state capital, during this year's annual fasting.

The former Leicester City record signing is known for sharing such gifts during the holy month of Ramadan.

While sharing the picture on social media, Adam (@Adam_abu1) said on Twitter that the Nigerian star sent some relief materials to the vulnerable in the northern part of the country.

He said: "Ahmed Musa provided Palliative for people of Jos South (Bukuru) of Plateau State which comprised of rice and was shared to the people accordingly. May Almighty Allah bless and protect you."

Musa recently took to social media to social media to show off his new latest car collection which is 2019 Mercedes G Wagon worth N120m.

The former Kano Pillars' star is considered to be one of the richest footballers in Nigeria considering the money he has made while playing in Russia and the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick has confirmed that Gernot Rohr has signed a contract extension to remain as the Super Eagles coach.

The German-born tactician took charge of the country's national team in 2016 and has made tremendous progress with the squad.

He led them to a third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations championship where they won bronze medal. However, the relationship between the two parties fell apart after their glorious outing in Egypt last summer.

"I'm happy to announce that the NFF and Coach Gernot Rohr have concluded all contractual discussions and he will stay on as Coach of the Super Eagles," Amaju Pinnick Tweeted.
