Man of God joins fight against coronavirus, donates face masks to police

- Face masks have been donated to the Rivers state police command by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of the Omega Power Ministry

- The face masks were received by the commissioner of police in the state, who thanked the cleric for his kind gesture

- The police chief urged the man of God not to relent in giving back to the society

The general overseer of the Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has donated face masks to the police in Rivers state for the fight against COVID-19.

The GO, who has a good working relationship with the police, promised to sustain the bonding between the police and his ministry.

The items were received by the state commissioner of police, Joseph G Mukan, who expressed gratitude to the man of God for his show of love to the police in the state.

Mukan urged the cleric not to relent in his efforts in giving back to the society, adding that such exemplifies the Life of Christ.

In other news, the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, has successfully delivered another COVID-19 patient of a baby boy.

The 37-year-old woman was delivered of the baby via caesarean section on Saturday, May, 9.

This was disclosed on Tuesday, May 12, by the chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of LUTH, Wasiu Adeyemo.

Recall that LUTH had on April 27 successfully delivered a 40-year-old COVID-19 patient of a baby girl.

Adeyemo said: “A team of LUTH doctors, anaesthetists and nurses delivered another woman diagnosed with COVID-19 of a baby boy (birth weight: 2.6kg).

“The 37-year-old mother was delivered of the baby via caesarean section on Saturday, 9th May, 2020."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian mum and her daughter in the United States were rewarded with $10,000 (N3,909,800) each for saving the lives of COVID-patients in New York.
