Former Super Eagles defender Taiye Taiwo has pointed an accusing finger on late Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi claiming that his dirty deals forced him out of the Super Eagles.

Taiye Taiwo is one of the best left full backs who have played for the Super Eagles considering his speed, shots and high goal scoring sense when he was wearing green and white jersey.

The former AC Milan defender played 53 games for the Super Eagles scoring five goals before he stopped playing for the Nigerian national senior men's team.

And while speaking with Face TV Africa in live video interview and observed by Legit.ng, Taiye Taiwo explained to the host of the program and Yoruba actor Afeez Abiodun Owo that he left the Super Eagles when late Stephen Keshi came with what he did not like.

The 35-year-old stated clearly that he has never been involved in dirty deals which can damage his reputation stressing that he would rather sit down at home with his family.

''I am someone who don't want dirty glory and in my life, I have never been involved in what is not clean and that was why I packed my bags and left the Super Eagles.

''I cannot work or stay where I see that is dirty because I am serving a clean God, and if I am in an area that is not clean, I will have to leave the place.

''When they appointed Stephen Keshi as coach, he was acting somehow in which I told my self that it was time for me to leave the Super Eagles.

''I packed my bags and I told my wife and family that I cannot be involved in dirty deals,'' Taiye Taiwo explained.

Meanwhile, Taiye Taiwo currently plays as a defender for RoPS Rovaniemi.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how ex Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Sarki made a stunning allegation against the former coaches in the Super Eagles claiming that he was asked to pay the sum of £10,000 to get a call up.

Sarki's allegation comes hours after Chinedu Obasi also alleged that he was dropped from the 2014 Super Eagles World Cup team because of his failure to pay coaches bribe.

Although these two players failed to mention names of the coach or coaches who asked them to pay bribe, but it will be recalled that late Stephen Keshi was in charge of the Super Eagles then.
