Man finds his Range Rover stolen during NNPC Ogba fire incident (video)

- A Nigeria automobile dealer has found his car after it was initially stolen during a fire incident at Ogba, Lagos

There was a commotion around the Ogba area of Lagos state on Monday, April 27, after a fire razed an NNPC filling station in the area.

Eyewitnesses at the scene of the fire incident which damaged a lot of properties and nearby buildings claimed that it began when a tanker was discharging diesel at the station located around College road.

However, amidst the incident, a Nigerian man who runs a car dealership was thrown into a state of panic after an individual who claimed to be offering help, drove away with a Range Rover.

"In the midst of confusion while trying to evacuate cars from the yard due to fire outbreak in the gas station beside our lot. Someone decided to take advantage and drove away the Red Range Rover in the video," the individual said in the caption of a video shared on Instagram.

However, in a fortunate turn of events, Legit.ng contacted the owner of the automobile who disclosed that the stolen vehicle has been found.

According to him, residents of a nearby estate alerted the police and other surveillance teams in the area. The car was packed within the premises of Parish estate, Ogunbore, Ifako.

An alarm was raised after the thief went into hiding and abandoned the car.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously gathered the report of a young man identified as @LordRubn who cried out on Twitter after some of his things were stolen from his car.

The man shared a tweet, listing the items that were stolen after thieves broke into his car. According to @LordRubn, his backpack which contained his Macbook Pro Retina display 15.4 inches, six hard drives, his wallet, and his friends' wallet and Automated Teller Machine cards, were stolen.
