Covid-19: God has a solution - Oyedepo declares, shuns FG's ban

The general overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has given a prophetic declaration on the global pandemic called coronavirus.

Speaking at a service held in Canaanland, Ota in Ogun state, on Sunday, March 22, Oyedepo said that God has a solution for the virus, PM News reports.

The cleric said: “Plagues cannot stop us. Coronavirus cannot stop God’s children, but I assure you that the solution will be found this week.

“Only the help of God can save us, our markets are open so there is no way to curb this but only God can save Africa from this pandemic."

Meanawhile, Legit.ng rported that the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Adejare Adeboye, had opened up on a revelation given to him by God concerning the spread of coronavirus.

Adeboye on Sunday, March 22, said that God had told him earlier in 2020 that the outbreak of the virus will bring about a compulsory holiday all over the world.

The renowned cleric revealed: “God said there will be a compulsory holiday. The closest we had like that was during 9-11.”

The RCCG head pastor said that the pandemic will become history only when God succeeds in making the world understand that he is sovereign over all human affairs.

In another post, Legit.ng reported that despite the recent directive given by the Lagos and Ogun state government to halt all gatherings or meetings of more than fifty people in other to curb the spread of coronavirus, some Sunday service gatherings this Sunday, March 22, showed that two churches had failed to follow the directive.

The Winners Chapel, Cannan Land, and Dunamis in Abuja held their Sunday service with more than fifty people in attendance.

In videos streamed live to their members across the world, it could be seen that the congregation in both churches was more than the number required for gatherings by the Lagos and Ogun state government.
