3 female students receive 24 strokes of cane for fighting in Surulere
- A video of three female students getting punished has surfaced on social media
- Two of the young ladies had allegedly collided to beat up another female student
- Unfortunately, they met with their waterloo and got several strokes of the cane for their actions
Fighting and bickering among students in secondary is not something new. However, three female students got unfortunate after they were accosted for their brawl and made to receive serious punishment for their actions.
According to online reports, two of the ladies had joined hands together to mete out punishment against another female student.
It was alleged that one of the student’s had been expelled from school and she sought the assistance of her friend to deal with an ex-classmate, following an argument that had initially started on a Facebook group.
Legit.ng sighted a video that captured the moment the ladies had been accosted by concerned residents in the neighbourhood where their little drama had played out.

They were made to fall on their knees while an unidentified man lashed at them with a cane. A woman’s voice that was heard in the background of the video made it clear that the ladies had gotten nothing less than 24 strokes of the cane.

In a similar story, Legit.ng gathered the report of a video of a group of students at the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure that became the topic of conversation on social media. Nigerians shared outrage over the viral video that showed students bullying another of their colleague.
In the video, the group led by a male and a female student were seen beating one 100 level female student identified simply as Bolu. The students were heard telling Bolu to kneel and when she refused they ganged up on her and started beating her.

Following the development, the school released an official statement which revealed that the students had been suspended.
According to the statement, the school held a disciplinary hearing and suspended the students after investigations were done.
