- NNPC has announced the recruitment of 1,050 graduate trainees as part of its 2019/2020 employment exercise

- It will be recalled that the 2019/2020 recruitment exercise kicked off via nationwide adverts in March 2019

- NNPC says it as an equal opportunity employer in the oil and gas industry value chain to promote excellence within the corporation

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced the recruitment of 1,050 graduate trainees as part of its 2019/2020 employment exercise.

A statement from the corporation indicates the issuance of provisional offers of employment to the 1,050 fresh employees has commenced.

Many of the successful candidates and their loved ones have taken to social media to celebrate their successes.

NNPC boss, Mallam Mele Kyari stated that the outcome of the exercise reflected national spread and complied with all statutory requirements.

“We look forward to warmly receiving our new team members and working with them to build a corporation that all Nigerians will be proud of,” he said.

Meanwhile, the NNPC boss has accused officials of the corporation of collaborating with some members of the security agencies in vandalising petroleum pipeline.

Kyari also accused communities located in areas where pipelines are located of sabotaging pipelines.

He made the statement on Monday, January 20, when he visited the pipeline inferno that occurred at Oke-Odo, Abule Egba area of Lagos.
