President Muhammadu Buhari's wife, First Lady Aisha Buhari, has been spotted with Turai Yar’adua, former first lady and wife of late president Umar Yar'adua. The powerful women were seen having fun together.
The first lady has shared photos of them together on her Instagram page. She revealed that the former first lady visited Aso rock with her children, Zainab Dakingari and Abdulaziz Yar'adua.
Buhari explained that she enjoyed their time together. She noted that she was pleased to host the family at the State House.

According to the first lady, she discussed major issues with Turai. She noted that they talked about issues on gender-based violence and youth development in Nigeria.
In the photos, the women were seen touring Aso Rock. They were spotted looking through the wall of former first ladies.

Buhari stated that Turai reminisced about her time in the State House. She noted that Turai was the one who initiated the conference hall for first ladies during her time as the first lady.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that an old and rare photo of Maryam Babangida, wife of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, with Princess of Wales, Diana, the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry of the British royal family had surfaced. The photo showed Maryam Babangida and Princess Diana together at an event.
The two were seen walking together in one photo and talking to each other in another photo. It was gathered that the event that the photos were taken from took place at Tafawa Balewa Square in Surulere area of Lagos state, on March 16, 1989.
It was reported that the photos were taken at the Rural Women's Fair at the square. Princess Diana was in Nigeria on an official visit at the time. Princess Diana was seen rocking a dress made by Alistair Blair while Babangida's wife was rocking an ankara outfit allegedly styled by Folorunsho Alakija, who is now the richest woman in Nigeria.
