Popular musicians, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, have both promised to give an amazing performance in honour of late Kobe Bryant during the 2020 Super Bowl half time show.

Mirror UK reports that Kansas City Chiefs and the Latino world superstars will be praising the NBA legend at the biggest NFL game.

The game will be taking place a week after Kobe died on Sunday, January 26, with his 13-year-old daughter in a helicopter crash.

At the Super Bowl press conference, the singer, Lopez, said there will be a heartfelt moment, without really going into details.

Lopez also mentioned how her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, a retired baseball player who knew Bryant’s family well, informed her about the gory news.

"Alex came to me with tears in his eyes, and he's like, 'You're not going to believe what happened,

"He was devastated. He knew Kobe really well. I knew Kobe and Vanessa more in passing. He had come to my last show in Vegas - the both of them - as a date night and we had a beautiful night that night,” she said.

Shakira, on the other hand, said that they will not only be remembering the NBA legend on Sunday, February 2, but they will also be celebrating life.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported former Lakers player Smush Parker is having a difficult time processing Kobe’s death because the two did not see eye to eye.

The former starting point guard for the admired Lakers team said he just wishes he and Kobe had mended their fences before his sudden death.

In other news, popular American rapper, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, received a significant star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with celebrity appearances from Eminem and Dr Dre.
