Nigerians react to claims Bishop Oyedepo was denied US visa

- It was gathered that the popular pastor created a scene after he was denied the visa

- Pastor Oyedepo reportedly called on his bodyguards to bring his phone so he could make calls but he was told he could not make calls in the vicinity

Pastors in Nigeria are revered and given a godlike status by many people and these same ‘fans’ find it strange to see them act like regular people in some cases.

Pastors in Nigeria are also quite controversial as people have started to question their actions. Just recently, it was reported by This Day that popular man of God, Bishop Oyedepo, created a scene at the US Embassy in Lagos.

According to reports online, the pastor visited the embassy on Thursday, January 30, 2020, and was denied a US visa. After he was denied, sources told This Day that the man of God created a serious scene and questioned the reason behind the denied renewal of his visa.

The report has however been debunked by the US embassy. The embassy, through its official Twitter handle, debunked the reports, branding it as false news.
