Controversial Nigerian monarch, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Adewale Akanbi, was recently spotted alongside popular singer and self-acclaimed African giant, Burna Boy.

The monarch who appears to be in Lagos stepped out for a lovely evening at a popular restaurant in the city and it seemed he ran into the singer and another close friend at the venue.

Oba Akanbi posted a photo on his official Instagram page, accompanied by a short caption.

"Emperor Telu1, Burna Boy the African giant and my good friend Prince Solomon Adenrele of Solonet Accounting firm, Toronto, Ontaria, Canada @ the shiro," his caption read.

Oba Akanbi asked people not to judge him when they do not know what went down in the marriage. He said he never did anything wrong to his ex-queen. He also noted that if he did anything evil to Chanel Chin God would judge his actions and put a curse on his head, adding that his crown would be removed from his head.

Meanwhile, the Ye crooner may become the first Nigerian artist to finally bring home the highly coveted Grammy music awards. Burna Boy's album, African Giant, was nominated for the World Best Music Album category alongside some other African artists.

The ceremony is set to take place on Sunday January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angelese. Ahead of the award, Burna Boy appeared to have gifted himself with a brand new Ferrari which is said to be worth about N100m. A video that made the rounds on social media captured the musician taking a cruise around town in his new multimillionaire automobile.
