A Michigan woman in the US hit a very big jack pot this year when she was matched with billionaire Bill Gates as her secret Santa Claus.
Shelby got 81 pounds worth of books, treats and other amazing things plus a donation made to the American Heart Association in her mother’s name, Market Watch reports.
The 33-year-old woman said that she had always thought it would really be great to be matched with someone as big as Bill Gates but never knew it would be this cool.
“I always thought it would be super cool to be matched with him some day, but I never really would have expected this to happen to me,” she said.
Every year, the Microsoft founder participates in the Reddit Secret Santa program where people are randomly matched together to share gifts.
To give her the gifts, Bill Gates had to research well into what Shelby would like. Her profile shows that she is a fan of movies like Harry Porter, Star Wars. Little wonder the gifts she got included some of the things she loves most.
On her view of the gift program, she said she would keep participating in it as it brings a whole lot of joy.
“I’m definitely gonna keep participating in Reddit Gifts. It brings me a lot of joy. I can’t wait to continue, and to spoil more people with presents, and pass it forward,” she said.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a group of veiled Muslim women spent Christmas Eve sewing Santa Claus dolls at a factory in the Gaza Strip.

Many of those women are forbidden from leaving their village. They were employed at a factory in Umm al-Nasser, a village in northern Gaza.
The factory where the women work is run by an organization called the Zeina Cooperative. The outfit said that it gave the women a three-year training where they learnt to make gifts for all holidays.
