While the House has passed a vote of no confidence on US president, Donald Trump, and impeached him using two articles, there is still more going on concerning American politics.
And that is aside the fact that the Republican Senate will be carrying out their impeachment proceedings come January 2020. It is, however, the case that Americans are using the same medium the president loves so much, Twitter, to get back at him.
On Thursday, December 19, Americans went on Twitter to dig out a tweet Trump made about impeachment in 2014.
In the said tweet that was likely directed at the then-sitting president, Barack Obama, Trump asked rhetorically if the House was allowed to impeach a president for gross incompetence.
The citizens of the country have been subtweeting the comments with diverse mocking opinions that point to why his present impeachment is deemed necessary.
Others said his 2014 question has been correctly answered.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the former first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, described the impeachment hearings of President Donald Trump with his dealing with Ukraine as “surreal”.
Michelle said that though she does not know what many people think about it, she is sure they would recover from it.

"It's surreal. I don't think people know what to make of it. But do I think we can come back from it? Oh yeah," she said.
She continued that the country had been through tough times like depressions and wars and it came stronger from everything.
Michelle said letting the development dampen the country and not do what is right will not be good enough for the next generation.
