Religion is a very big deal in many African countries, particularly in Nigeria. Most people revere their spiritual leaders and do not joke with things of God.

Just recently, a popular pastor in Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye, made the news after he shared God’s revelation to him with his congregation.

The RCCG General Overseer claimed that God told him he would not die until he builds a church auditorium as big as one of the biggest cities in West Africa, Ibadan.

Pastor Adeboye said: “If anybody tells you that Pastor Adeboye is dead, don’t believe them. You know why? Because I heard that God is going to build for us an auditorium the size of Ibadan. Until that is done, I’m not going anywhere.”

Well, popular on-air-personality who also concerns himself with dealings of the church, Daddy Freeze, has reacted to the news.

According to the OAP, we need factories the size of Ibadan in the country and not churches.

In an Instagram post, Daddy Freeze wrote: “Dear Pastor Adeboye,

we need factories the size of Ibadan NOT churches, we have way too many churches already.

With 10 churches on each street, we have so much religion, so much hunger and underdevelopment yet so little love.”

Interesting.

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that Pastor Adeboye donated the sum of N10 million to the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, Oyo state.

It was gathered that the N10 million was used to purchase one hemodialysis machine for the hospital. The machine is said to be used to filter a patient's blood to remove excess water and waste products in the blood.
