Governor Ihedioha adopts little boy for life days after watching him perform on stage

- Governor Ihedioha has adopted a little boy in Imo state

- The boy had impressed the governor during a stage performance

- The little boy will now be trained for life by the Imo state chief executive

Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo state has adopted a little boy for life and promised to train him.

The governor made the disclosure on Friday, October 11 when he hosted the boy, David Wisdom Uchechukwu and his family to a breakfast meeting.

Governor Emeka Ihedioha this morning had breakfast with little David had made a wonderful recitation during the 2019 Independence Day celebration at Ikeduru Local Government Area.

His performance on the day impressed Ihedioha and the governor deemed it necessary to celebrate and encourage him.

Wisdom who hails from Ikeduru was accompanied by the Ikeduru Interim Management Committee Chairman, Dr. A.C. Opara, His parents Mr. and Mrs. David Osuagwu, teacher, Ehiri Joy Godfrey, and the young man who released the video, Akujor Micheal.

Meanwhile, in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl, Skills Outside School Foundation (SOSF) has concluded plans to train over 200 female primary school pupils on life and leadership skills.

The SOSF is partnering with the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Department for International Development (DFID) and Plan International to carry out the project.
