- Nemanja Matic and Alexis Sanchez are set to return from injury this week after both were named in United squad for their UCL clash against Barcelona
- The pair were named among a 22-man squad that departed for the Camp Nou on Monday, April 15
- Man United are aiming to overturn a first leg 1-0 deficit against Barcelona for a place in the semifinals for the first time in eight year
Nemanja Matic and Alexis Sanchez were named among Manchester United’s contingent ahead of their Champions League quarter-final reverse fixture against Barcelona.
According to teamtalk.com report, Matic and Sanchez are part of the Red Devils 22-man squad that departed Manchester for Barcelona on Monday morning, April 15.
Midfielder Matic was also injured but seem to have recovered enough before his inclusion.
On the other hand, Sanchez has missed action for about six weeks because of a knee injury, but has returned to add more bite in United’s attack that could not fire a shot on target in last week’s defeat at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has declared Man United will go all out in a bid to overturn the 1-0 deficit in Barcelona on Tuesday, April 16.
“We will use the PSG (match), we will use Juventus away, we have beaten some good teams away from home this year, and played against some great players.
“We had (Barcelona) flustered at times here as well. Yes, they controlled the game towards the end, they had the possession but they never really bothered us in our own half,” the Norwegian submitted.
