Kannywood actor Bello Mohammed to cut his 'trademark' hair to celebrate Buhari's re-election

A popular Hausa actor has come out to declare his intentions to cut his Afro hair which is popularly known as his trademark style. The individual who is a staunch supporter of Buhari said this was his own way of celebrating the re-election of his choice candidate.

The Kannywood actor who campaigned massively for Buhari was indeed very happy that the president won for the second time in a row. Earlier, he had promised that he was going to cut his hair.

Now that the re-election has happened, the Plateau-based actor intends to go through with his promise by cutting his hair. He made this known on his Instagram page where he had earlier posted clips from the voluntary campaigns he did for Buhari.

In a post, he shared a picture of 2pace in 1996 side by side with a photo of how he looked in the same year. Then, he went on to say that he would go as bald as he was in this particular year just for the sake of Buhari.

Earlier, the actor had said that people were disturbing him and urging him to follow through with the promise of cutting his Afro hair. Although he did not seem to be happy about letting his cool look go, he has promised to do it all the same for the president.

He said: "I made a promise of cutting my identity and pride which happens to be my hair in appreciation of @muhammadubuhari's A yanzu haka. I am undergoing pressures to fulfill my promise. However, I decided to do it in Kaduna for @nelrufai and @ubasanius to host this great event. Get ready!"
