Olaniyonu said Saraki in the letter which was dispatched to the police on Tuesday, July 24, had answered all the questions raised by the police in his letter to the police boss.
He also added that the letter was duly acknowledged by the force headquarters and that there was no need for the Senate president to go to the police personally.
Olaniyonu said: "He has written a letter to them and the letter has taken care of the purpose of the invitation. He sent the letter to them yesterday (Tuesday). The letter addressed the issues raised in the invitation letter."
