Newly promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa this summer.

The Super Eagles star scored two superb goals to hand Nigeria their first victory at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.

He was sent on a short term loan CSKA Moscow in the second half of last season - where he scored seven goals in 16 appearances.

French League side, Marseille are also said to be interested in the Nigeria international, who might be considering a move away from the King Power Stadium.

According to Tribal Football citing Turkish news outlet, Fanatik claims the two clubs are interested in the 25-year-old.

Musa's agent also revealed that Galatasaray are in pole position to land the out of favour Leicester City striker.

The Super Eagles striker joined the Foxes in 2016 in the summer of 2016 in a four year deal worth £16 million.

He broke into the national team in 2010 and has gone ahead to appear 74 times with 15 goals to his credit.

If he plays against Argentina on Tuesday night, he will be making his 75th senior appearance for the three time African champions.

Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian in Austria has tipped Super Eagles and Leicester City star Ahmed Musa to become the next president of Nigeria.

The Nigerian made his intentions known when the three-time African champions camped in the European country for the final lap of their preparations for this summer’s FIFA World Cup staging in Russia from June 14 to July 15 this year.
