Super Eagles star William Troost-Ekong spotted in 'Keke Napep' in Port Harcourt

Super Eagles star defender, William Troost-Ekong was spotted in a tricycle popularly known as 'Keke Napep' in Port Harcourt Rivers state ahead of the Super Eagles World Cup clash with DR Congo.

The Eagles defender, was spotted by Legit.ng team in Port Harcourt today May 28 ahead of Nigeria crucial friendly match with the Leopards of DR Congo.

Ekong, 24, a member of the popular 'oyibo wall' a name he shares with defensive colleague Leon Balogun is among the Super Eagles A list stars already in training preparing for the World Cup.

Super Eagles media officer and campaigner of the #SoarSuperEagles campaign Toyin Ibitoye was also on the back seat of the Keke Napep with Ekong.

Legit.ng previously reported that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will be hosting the Democratic Republic of Congo today, Monday, May 28, in Port Harcourt in preparation for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The team have been camped in Uyo, training at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium for the final phase as Gernot Rohr and his technical crew are working tirelessly to ensure players get into shape for the upcoming matches.

After the DR Congo friendly, the Super Eagles will proceed to London to play England after which the German coach will announce his final 23-man squad that will play at the World Cup.
