Cee-c condemns Calabar dress made for BBNaija cultural party, redesigns it to crop top, sponsor reacts

- As usual Payporte, one of the official sponsors of the show made different cultural attires for the housemates and Cee-c got that of a Calabar princess
- Rather than appreciate the cultural beauty of the dress, Cee-c condemns the outfit and redesigns it to a crop top

Legit.ng had reported that in celebrating Nigeria’s diverse culture, the organisers of the Big Brother Naija hosted the housemates to a cultural themed Saturday night party.
In its usual manner, Payporte, one of the official sponsors and clothier of the housemates prepared a traditional outfit for each of the housemates. While others took whatever was given to them in good faith, Cee-c openly condemned the outfit given to her.
Cee said she is disappointed in Payporte because of her outfit. She was given a Cross River cultural attire but rather than wear it, the lawyer in the house decided to redesign it. Instead of looking like a Calabar princess, she turned the dress into a crop top which she later worn with a black skirt.

Meanwhile, Payporte is unhappy with Cee-c’s outburst about her Calabar dress and the fact that she redesigned it. In their first reaction to her condemnation of their creation, the organization wrote on their Instagram page:
“PayPorte is very dis-pleased by the comments made by @ceec_official about the outfit given to her. We take out time to style all housemates with respect to the theme of every Saturday party. We consider this a disrespect to our brand and consider this offensive.”

Payporte later made a comment on the redesigned outfit Cee-c wore to the #repyourculture party:
“The transformation isn't cultural.”
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that BBNaija took a new twist on Saturday night, March 31, as Bam Bam was evicted just after the cultural party. Ebuka had joined the party and the housemates loved his being around not knowing that he came to evict one of them.
