Legit.ng has come across the story of a lady who is a burn survivor celebrating her scars and being alive. The lady identified as Magdalene Edet Ekanem released new photos of herself showing off her burn scars on social media.

The lady, who expressed that she shows off her scars because she is not ashamed of it, stated that the scars are a reminder that she got a chance to live.

Ekanem further said that she is someone else’s sign of hope. The lady who also stated that she wouldn’t allow the scars to hold her back from being a queen was seen rocking a crown in one of the photos where she showed off the scar on her lap.

In other photos, the beautiful lady was seen rocking African prints and crop tops as she showed off the scars on her stomach where she got most of the burns.

She said: "I show off my scars and I am not ashamed of it because they are reminder that I am alive and someone else's sign of hope.��� @mbss_foundation."
