An FCT court had earlier struck out an application for bail by Sanda, daughter-in-law of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s chairman, Haliru Bello. It was the second time Sanda's request was declined after a previous request for bail made by Sanda’s lawyer, Joseph Daudu, had been refused in December.

Legit.ng previously reported that the CCTV footage in the residence of Bilyamin Bello, the son of a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman who was allegedly stabbed by his wife, Maryam Sanda, has been obtained by the Abuja police command.

The command has also arrested three private security guards who were stationed at the premises when the alleged stabbing of Bello occurred, The Punch reports.

An anonymous police source, who confirmed the retrieval of the CCTV footage, indicated that the clips show the last moments the deceased.
