Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly interested in the signing of Monaco star Fabinho as United manager Jose Mourinho wants him in his squad next season.

The Red Devils are now said to be ready to launch a £45 million bid for the 24-year-old Brazilian player who can play as a right full back and also as a defensive midfielder.

Manchester United were linked with a swoop for the Brazilian in January, but instead concentrated on bringing Alexis Sanchez to the club from Arsenal.

However, respected Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says they will step-up their pursuit of the 24-year-old South American at the end of the season.

The report also stated that French club Paris-Saint-Germain are also interested in the signing of the Brazilian superstar.

Last season, Fabinho caught the attention as Les Monegasques unexpectedly won Ligue 1 and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

After being converted from a right-back to midfield, Fabinho was directly involved in 14 goals in all competitions in 2016/17 scoring ten goals and adding a further four assists.
