- President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, January 10, presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Aso Villa, Abuja

- The FEC meeting is the first of such meeting in 2018 and its coming on the heels of recent disturbances in Benue state

- Details of discussion have not been made know as at the time of filing this report

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that President Buhari was reportedly concerned about the spate of killings in the country and was prepared to take any step to put an end to them.

The position was contained in a statement issued by Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, on Tuesday, January 9.
